The and Mayor’s Commission on LGBTQ Affairsand Mayor’s Commission on LGBTQ Affairs are excited to announce the 2019 LGBTQ+ State of the Union!
Last year’s State of the Union drew over 400 attendees and created a new transformative forum for LGBTQ Philadelphians to directly engage with our city’s LGBTQ organizations. At this year’s LGBTQ State of The Union, Executive Directors and Board Presidents from Philadelphia’s LGBTQ+ specific service organizations will deliver seven minute lighting talk presentations on their accomplishments for the year and their goals for the upcoming year. Following presentations, each org leader and board chair will meet with community members in breakout groups to answer questions and share ideas face-to-face with LGBTQ+ Philadelphians.
This is a unique opportunity to connect, learn, and get involved with LGBTQ+ issues in Philadelphia! We invite all community members to join us once again at the Kimmel Center.
