Jai is a poet, singer, actor, mover, and social activist. He’s currently working on his second manuscript: a collection of poems that are an open letter to Black gay men. Jai is a Philadelphia native who recently joined Philadelphia Black Pride with the intention to develop more queer and trans visibility. He also intends to promote creativity through all art forms as well as further support in the development of the organization’s role in social justice and advocacy work. He is a member of Kappa Psi Kappa Fraternity INC, FA16 and works by day as a social worker and educator.
