My name is Pauli Murray

Join CPOC, Philly Black Pride and The Colours Organization to share some delicious food, watch an amazing documentary and talk about Pauli’s legacy, how important they are in our nation’s history and how we can continue their fight for social justice and against racism and all other forms of hate.

Fifteen years before Rosa Parks refuses to give up her bus seat, Pauli Murray fights for social justice. A non-binary Black lawyer, activist, poet, and priest, Murray influenced both Ruth Bader Ginsburg and Thurgood Marshall.
